CBRE partnered with Preimage to document and monitor a 6.2 lakh sq. ft. office project spread across 11 floors.
The goal was to create a reliable visual record of site conditions that could support progress reviews, quality checks, contractor coordination, and verification without depending on repeated walkthroughs or scattered photo updates.
Using floor-wise 360° capture, measurable 3D models, and AI-assisted reports, Preimage enabled a more structured and accessible workflow for reviewing the project across execution stages.
The Challenge
Managing progress across a large, active office project created several challenges:
- Large-site tracking — Monitoring 6.2 lakh sq. ft. across 11 floors made it difficult to maintain a clear and consistent view of site progress.
- Uninterrupted capture — Site documentation had to continue without stopping contractors, labour movement, or ongoing execution.
- Manual review effort — Progress updates depended heavily on physical walkthroughs, scattered photographs, and manual reporting.
- Proof for verification — CBRE required reliable visual evidence to validate completed work, support quality checks, and resolve contractor disputes.
CBRE needed a scalable visual documentation process that could provide a consistent record of the project across floors and review cycles.
Preimage’s Approach
Preimage captured the site floor-wise using an off-the-shelf 360° camera and transformed the footage into a structured, measurable 3D record for remote review, progress tracking, issue verification, and AI-powered analysis.
3D Measurable Model

A unified, measurable 3D view of the office space across all floors.
Enabled remote measurements, area checks, and verification of site conditions.
Progress Monitoring

Floor-wise 360° walkthroughs enabled teams to review execution across different project stages.
Helped stakeholders track changing site conditions without repeated physical visits.
Visual Defect Analysis

AI-assisted reports highlighted visible defects and quality issues from site captures.
Created a structured record for review, follow-up, and contractor coordination.
Schedule & Progress Tracking

Mapped planned schedules against actual site progress across floors and work zones.
Highlighted task status, delays, and progress gaps to support faster reviews and timely action.
Outcome
Preimage created a consistent visual record of site conditions across all 11 floors, giving CBRE a clearer and more reliable way to monitor progress throughout execution.
Project teams could review site conditions remotely, compare progress across stages, and use historical documentation to support quality reviews, contractor coordination, and work verification.
This enabled CBRE to:
- Review progress remotely across floors and project stages
- Reduce dependency on repeated physical walkthroughs
- Maintain better visibility across work zones
- Improve coordination using a shared visual reference
- Verify completed work using historical site records
- Support quality checks and contractor dispute resolution
By combining floor-wise 360° capture, measurable 3D models, and AI-assisted reporting, Preimage helped CBRE establish a more structured and transparent workflow for progress monitoring across 6.2 lakh sq. ft. and 11 floors.
